Job Overview – Float Nurse (LPN/RN):
Join our client’s dynamic team in Yonkers, NY, as a Float Nurse. This role involves administering allergy care, performing tests, assisting physicians, and managing administrative tasks. The position offers flexible shifts, providing a blend of on-site and floating responsibilities.
Location: Yonkers, NY
Compensation: $32 – $42/hour (Dependent on experience)
Schedule: Flexible Shifts (3 days On-Site & 2 days Floating)
Responsibilities as the Float Nurse (LPN/RN):
Allergy Injections & Monitoring: Administer allergy injections and monitor patient responses.
Allergy & Pulmonary Testing: Perform allergy testing (food, environmental, venom, drug, chemical) and conduct pulmonary function testing.
Patient Care Assistance: Assist the physician with patient care activities.
Administrative Tasks: Handle insurance approvals, data entry, restock clinical supplies, and respond to patient calls and messages.
Qualifications for the Float Nurse (LPN/RN):
Licensing: Active RN or LPN License (New grads welcome to apply).
Certifications: BLS/CPR certification.
Skills: Ability to prioritize, multitask, work well in a team, provide excellent customer service, and pay attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Competence in working with computers.
