Position Overview:
The Director of Operations will provide leadership and oversight of Health Home programs and team-based care models. Key responsibilities include developing strategies to drive vision and growth, analyzing trends and metrics, delegating objectives, reviewing documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring budgets, and leading process improvements.
Compensation: $110,000.00 Location: Bronx, New York Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
Responsibilities:
• Establish comprehensive goals aligned with the Health Home vision
• Analyze best practices to scale operations
• Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies
• Translate strategic plans into tactical action items
• Delegate tasks and build accountability
• Synthesize data to convey team strengths and needs
• Review assessments, care plans, and progress notes
• Identify documentation trends and coach staff
• Participate in implementation planning meetings
• Ensure program documentation meets standards
• Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory policies
• Provide guidance for budget planning
• Support special projects as needed
Qualifications:
• Master's in Social Work, Counseling or a related field
• 5+ years of management experience in healthcare
• Knowledge of NYS health regulations
• Skilled in leading and motivating diverse teams
• Experience with Medicaid care coordination
• Familiarity with trauma-informed and ethical practices
• Expertise with EHR platforms and data analysis
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfort working with underserved populations
• Excellent administrative writing skills
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
